Less than two weeks

Baby Girl

In less than two weeks we will be in Ethiopia to see you!!

To say your daddy and I are excited is an understatement.  

Our paper chain count down to meeting you!  We are almost above the mantel.  

We are going to ETHIOPIA

Yes -- that's right!  We are going to Ethiopia!!

We are headed out on a jet plane.

We are coming to meet you Baby Girl!

We can not wait to
 kiss your sweet cheeks
rock you in our arms
tickle your tiny toes
hear your laugh
see you smile

Of course we will be taking one million photos -- you will come to know this is normal!

We will be in country on April 28th!
Court is set for May 3rd (we are praying, hoping, wishing that will be the day you officially become a Bowen.  You already are in our hearts.

We will leave on the 5th ( Mimzy's birthday)  She knows how to celebrate a birthday on a 20 hour flight.  Yes that is right you get to meet your Mimzy too!!

Four Months Old

Hi Baby Girl

You are FOUR months old!!!  

We are getting to see photos of you every two weeks and you are perfect!

You are a little over ten pounds -- in the 5th percentile (just like your momma and daddy) Great JOB

You are alert, reaching for the camera, and kicking your legs!!

Big news of the week is both of our paperwork is now officially at the court house.  SOOOOOOOOO hopefully in a few weeks we will find out when we get to meet you!!!  

We love you so much and can not wait to see your sweet face in person, hear your laugh and hopefully make you smile.  You make us smile everyday!!!!!!!!!!!

Three months and your first leap year!!

Our next leap year we will definitely be together!!

We celebrated with amazing cupcakes made by one of your wonderful fairy godmothers Melissa.  

We received more beautiful pictures of you!!  You are growing so well and gaining weight.    You have the most beautiful eyes and sweetest little feet chubby knees.  So many people want to see pictures  your photos but Ethiopia law states we must wait until you are officially a BOWEN to post any photos online.  

We are starting to arrange your homecoming debut and have finalized the shirts.  Cute just like you. 

I think it will look so wonderful with everyone in their shirts.  People who want to greet you at the airport can either click on the paypal link or can email me with their sizes.

You will have the shirt in every size when you come home.
